Long time, no see! I know that I have posted now for three days in a row, but it's tradition here at Movies Meet Their Match that at the start of the new year I list all of the books I read and the movies I watched! Now, this post is going to be huge, so apologies for that.
Here is my 2016 list, 2017 list, and 2018 list.
Clarifications:
Ones with a ~ means I saw it in a theater.
Ones with an asterisk (*) means I saw it more than once.
If I have reviewed it I will put the link to my review.
To be on this list I must have seen more than half of it, the ending, and cannot have missed more than half an hour of it.
There are not any rewatches on here because I rewatch way too many movies to count.
Movies:
The Avengers (2012)
Monkey Business (1952)
The Cowboy and the Lady (1938)

A Winter Princess (2019)
The Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Total: 67 movies
As you can see, 2019 was a MARVELous year because I decided to try to watch all of the movies in the MCU. I had only seen 5 of them previously, and obviously I didn't watch all of them, but I got pretty far!
I have an awesome story to go with that. My Spanish teacher and I had been talking about Marvel movies because I told her that I was watching them and she loves them (her favorite is Thor). She told me that I needed to see Endgame in theaters because she loved it, but I told her that I couldn't because I hadn't been able to watch Infinity War.
One day in May, I was sitting on my front steps reading my second favorite book of the year and crying (because that book is so gorgeous!!!) when she drove up in her car. I was trying to pretend then that I hadn't been crying. She said, "Here, I got this for you." and handed me a DVD of Avengers: Infinity War. She told me, "Now you have no more excuses, you have to see Endgame!" It meant so much to me that she got it for me.
I am so sorry for all of you who had to wait a whole year between Infinity War and Endgame, because I only had to wait three days and it was painful!
