The Oscars Results 2017

Hello!
Yes, it is me, even though I am extremely late to the party because the Oscars were days ago.
"The queen is never late, everyone else is just early."
Sorry, I can't pass up a good quote opportunity! Anyone know where it's from?
Back to the subject at hand, The Oscars!
This is a movie blog, and the Oscars are the biggest movie awards, so naturally, I will give you the results! (And some of my favorite dresses because they are too pretty to pass up, they will just be randomly scattered.)
Dakota Johnson. How old Fashioned! (Source)

Comment: Too bad about that whole mix-up. Announcing La La Land as best picture, but then finding that they had opened the wrong envelope.

Two other parts were the Oscar people messed-up, were in the memorials, they had a memorial for someone who is still alive.
"I'm not dead yet! I'm gettting better!" ("Anyone, Anyone?')
And they had the wrong picture for another memorial!

Since it is Lent, I will not be on here a lot, but I will be participatining in Meridith's Beauty and the Beast Week! How exciting!

I loved Halle, Alicia, and Auli'i's dresses, too! (You'll get to see my other loves tomorrow in my post:)

  2. It''s from The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement.

I didn't like Dakota Johnson's dress. The styling was so wrong, IMO. The peplum should have been in the back.

Brie Larson's was okay, but all the others you posted? YES!! We sat at he supper table with our smartphones on Instagram Oscars Night and exclaimed over the outfit!

I'm staying off of Pinterest for Lent.

    1. Bingo!

I could definitely have tweeked it, but they had the right idea, plus M. loves old fashioned things as you know so she wanted me to put it here.

My thought too! That sounds fun!

It's good to give up things. :)
