Anne of Green Gables Week!!

Hello!!!!!!!

Miss Evie at Over the Hills is hosting a Anne of Green Gables Week!! And since that is my favorite book, I just had to join!!! She has a fun tag going and here are my answers to it!

Anne of Green Gables Tag!

1. How did you get introduced to Anne of Green Gables?

One day, I didn't know what to read next. A Friend had given us a set of the full series and my Mom said, "Why don't you read those? They are really good." So I took it out and BOOM! It is now my favorite book.

2. Are you more like Anne or Diana? Why?

I'm not sure. I think I'm a mix of both of them.

3. If Rachel Lydne called your hair as red as carrots how would you react?

I really like my hair color, but red hair would be fun too! But I'm not that picky about my hair so I don't think I'd really care.

4. Gilbert or Morgan Harris?

Gilbert!!!

5. Honest opinion on the third Anne film.

What!? There is a third?

6. Have you seen the New Anne film?

I haven't seen any version.

7. What in your own words is a Kindred Spirit?

I don't know about my own words, Anne put it in such a wonderful way! I would say, that you have no doubt in them, you can tell what they are feeling.

8.  Movie Gilbert or Green Gables Fables Gilbert?

Haven't seen either.

9.  Does anyone know where we can watch Road to Avonlea online?

What is that?

10. Favourite book cover?

Sorry about the bad photo! I'm not a good photographer.

11. The Films or The Books?

The Books! I know, some fan I am, when I haven't even seen the films.

Thank you so much Miss Evie!!! That was so fun!!!!

Go check out the fun at Over the Hills! Thank you for reading!!!

  1. I'd say that having read all the books more than qualifies you to be a fan. Much more than if you'd only seen the movies and never read the books ;-)

  2. Green Gables Fables is a lot of fun. I have seen both seasons, but I haven't read the books.

    1. Well, my sisters read them when they were younger, but then my mom decided she didn't want us reading them. So I've never read them.

P.S. Will you pretty, pretty please tell your sister to pm me on Ravelry. It's really, really important.

  4. I remember seeing a black and white movie a long time ago, but I recall being disappointed with it since I'd pictured things so differently. Movies meet their match when they meet books you love!

  5. Ooh I like that book cover! Very nice :) Never seeing the movies still makes you a fan! I only saw them myself about 4 or 5 years ago and I'd been an Anne fan for years before that. In fact (whisper) although the movies aren't bad, the books beat them hollow so you started the right way round ;)

  6. You've never seen the movies yet? Oh! You really must. The first one is probably the best, but I like the second one, too. :)

By the way, I tagged you over at my blog if you're interested. There's no pressure to do it if you don't want to, but I'd love to read your answers.
