My 200th Post: Movies I Saw in the Theater

Hello, movie lovers!

It seems so crazy that this is my 200th post! I can't believe it. The computer must be lying. But, when I read through the list I did write all of them. Wow.

Anyway, to celebrate I am giving you a list of all the movies I've ever seen in a theater. I remember most of them. Some of these my sister told me we saw but I don't remember seeing them in the theater.

And they are:

Open Season (2006) [Yep, this is the first one I remember.]
Meet the Robinsons (2007)
Shrek the Third (2007)
Prince Caspian (2008)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
Wall-e (2008) [This is one of my favorite movies, but I really don't remember seeing it in the theater! All of my family claim that we did, though.]
Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
Shrek Forever After (2010)
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010)
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)
Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World (2011)
Puss in Boots (2011)
Brave (2012)
Frankenweenie (2012) [Not my idea!]
Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) [This was my first and only 3D movie, it was a good choice for it!]
Dolphin Tale 2 (2014)
The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies (2014) [I saw it in 2015, without seeing either of the others. I know, I know, that is crazy. But, we had friends in town and they had a bunch of free coupons for a movie, and we are a one movie theater.]
The Peanuts Movie (2015)
STAR WARS VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
The BFG (2016)
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
STAR WARS VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
The Incredibles 2 (2018)
Christopher Robin (2018)

Have you seen any of these? Did you see them in the theater? Thanks for reading my 200th post!

  1. WOW. 200 posts?! That's awesome. Congrats, my friend!

Of these, I also saw in theaters: Prince Caspian, BotFA, Star Wars VII & VIII, Beauty & the Beast (2017), and Incredibles 2. (But I've seen almost all of them.)

I should make a list like this...though I think it would be pretty long. Especially as of late, it seems I see more movies in theaters now than I used to.

    1. P.S. Wasn't Christopher Robin so nostalgic and sweet? <3 I had lots of tears for that one.

    2. Thank you, Elanor! It seems like too many. :)

All good ones to see on the big screen! Though, BotFA was a little rough. Mostly because I had no clue what was happening. And, SW movies are fun to see anywhere. :)

Yes! I would love to see you do a post like this! No matter how long it is, I'll read it.

Yes!! Oh I loved it!! At first my mom wanted to go, but then decided not to because she read that it was depressing. It wasn't, but she still didn't. My sisters and I went anyway and enjoyed it a lot! <3

    2. I saw The Hobbit, The last Jedi, and actually I didn't see the Force awakens, I saw Christopher Robin. The Force awakens was already out before I saw the Star wars movies.-Jose

    3. Oh, I see. I only saw the original Star Wars a few months before The Force Awakens came out so I was pretty new to it. The Hobbit, The Last Jedi, and Christopher Robin were all so good to see on the big screen!

  3. Some of these I really want to see. Some of them I have seen but not in theaters. I have only seen two movies in theater. Cars and Planes.

    1. Oh, Cars is a good one! I haven't seen Planes, though. Which have you seen, but not in the theater?

  4. That's cool that the only 3d thing you've seen was Oz the Great and Powerful. The only 3d thing I've seen was The Wonderful Wizard of OzšŸ˜.

    1. Hey! That's cool that they were both movies that had something to do with Oz! It is fun to see it in 3D! :)

  5. Nice, you saw a lot of good ones. I have seen way too many movies to even try to recall how many I saw in the theater.

    1. It seems weird that I have only seen 25, it seems like there should be more. What has been your favorite that you saw in the movie theater?

  6. Wow, you've seen a lot in theaters! The first movie I saw in theaters was Frozen, and since then I've gone to see Big Hero 6, Thor 3, and Jurassic World 2. And that's it so far. :)))

    Fun post, Clare!

    1. Frozen was your first? That would have been fun to see in the theater. And you got to see Big Hero 6?! Lucky! That's such a fun movie! I tend to not see the originals, but the sequels in the theater, too. :)

Thanks, Lila! I'm glad you liked it. :)
