Oh, you read Death Comes to Pemberley?! How did you like it? I really enjoyed the mini-series, so I had been thinking about reading the book.
ReplyDeleteI like her style of writing, and she did a really good job at writing the characters, but I didn't really like the mystery. If you already know the mystery and like it, and think you would enjoy the book!!
DeleteThose are quite the lists! I'm so glad you participated in the Mansfield Park read-along this past year. :) I'm thinking of hosting another read-along soon... Trying to choose between Anne of Avonlea, Emily of New Moon, and The Silver Chair. Not sure if you'd want to read or re-read any of those in the not-too-distant future, but it would be awesome to do a read-along with you again! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love that Cress and Winter made your favorite new-to-you list! That series is soooo good!
Thanks so much for sharing, and for stopping by my blog too! *hugs*

Thanks! Yes, I'm so glad I was able to participate as well!!! I really enjoy the questions that you put out, it makes me think about it more, and it makes me enjoy it more! Yes, I love Anne of Avonlea and The Silver Chair, and I have been wanting to read Emily of the New Moon for a long time! When you do host another one, I guarantee I'll join!! :)
DeleteYes! I really enjoyed Marissa Meyer's takes on the classic fairytales! I'm not usually a sci-fi person, but I zoomed through that series!!
Thank you for reading! Yeah, but I need to comment in your blog again, soon! *hugs*
Congrats on all those books! I reread HP in 2018 and fell in love with the series. The Deathly Hallows is such a good book! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kara! It actually was the last book that made me love the whole series! It is the best book in the series, by far!! <3
DeleteGreat list! Several of these intrigue me, like The Rumplestiltskin Problem.
ReplyDeleteIt's good! It is a collection of six short stories. The author actually was always confused about the story, so she wrote six different versions of Rumpelstiltskin to see if it made more sense. All of them are so different, it is a very fun read!
DeleteNeat! My library doesn't have it, but they do have another collection by the same author that explores Little Red Riding Hood, so I'm going to try that.
DeleteOoo! I hadn't heard of that one, I'll have to look it up!
DeleteThat's a lot of books. I really need to start reading more.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Skye! I only wish that there were more enjoyable ones in that mix. Though, I did read plenty of good ones.
