Movie/Series Review: Robin Hood BBC: Season 3, Episode 10: "Bad Blood"

Heyo!
Here we are for one of my least favorite episode of all of Robin Hood BBC, season 3, episode 10.
"Whoa, whoa, what are you doing?" I'm writing a review, can't you see that?
"I have better things to do with my day." That is NOT true, blogging is very fun.
"You really sure you want to do this now?" Well, I was actually hoping to have it out a few days ago, but now will have to do.
Enough talking to myself through quotes.
How it works:
If you want to join, go ahead! All you have to do is watch the episode for the day, then if you want do a post on it, or just comment on someone Else's post about it!
In my reviews for this series, I am only going to list the top ten featured characters in that episode.

My guarantee: On ALL of my reviews there are NO spoilers unless it says so. But the comments will have spoilers.

Robin Hood BBC: Season 3, Episode 10: "Bad Blood" (2009):
Based on the legends of Robin Hood:
"You were once on a very different path..."
This episode is a journey into the past, revealing past secrets to help someone in the future.
"Our darkest days are now behind us." Are they?...
Genre: Action, Adventure, Period Drama, Romance.
Costumes: 9, pretty good.
My favorite: The last dress we see Ghislaine in in this episode.
Script: 9, "Have you all taken leave of your senses?"
Crew:
Directed by: Roger Goldby
Created by:
Fox Allan
Dominic Minghella
Starring:
1. Jonas Armstrong as Robin Hood.
2. Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisborne.
3. Charlie Rowe as Young Robin.
4. Tommy Bastow as Young Guy.
I'm adding this because it is interesting.
5. Dean Lennox Kelly as Malcom.
6. Paul Hilton as Sir Roger.
7. Sophie Winkleman as Ghislaine.
8. Ian Reddington as Bailey Longthorn.
9. Ian Hughes as Swain.
10. Laura Hegyi as Young Isabella.
Music: 10!
Music by: Andy Price.
Quotes: 8,
"I'm younger than you and everyone knows that I'm the best shot in the village."
"That's only because you keep telling everyone that."
Notes: Things don't match up, had Robin just forgotten everything? He would have know people. Sorry, that doesn't make any sense, but this review is spoiler-free.
Storyline: 5, there is blood, kissing, death, illness, gruesome things, how Archer is born and really really suggestive stuff!!!! Now do you see why this is one of my least favorite episodes?
Overall Score: 7.

Thanks for reading! Do you dislike this episode as much as I do?

  1. I usually love the titles for these episodes, but this one just makes me think of a Taylor Swift song! XD

    1. Haha! That is true! XD This episode isn't a really good one, so not a good title fits it!

  2. Well, this wasn't really a nice one. I liked to see the youth of Robin and Guy, but that's about the only thing. Then I mean, only who their parents were and such things. You know what I would have liked in this episode? If they showed a young Marian. That would be great! Edward was the sherrif, why wasn't he shown then? Or was there an other sherrif those days? And now we know of the existence of Archer, and Guy and Robin bundle their powers to free him from the York prison.

    1. Yes, it showed how they got to be the people that they are, but was it Robin's boasting and meaness that made Guy to be so bad? Their parents, "I do not like" to quote John. They were not nice at all. A young Marian!! That would have been so great, I didn't even think of that. Edward probably was the sheriff then, that would have made this episode so much better! Archer, well we will have to talk about him in the next episode!

      Thanks for the ideas!

  3. I really liked this episode.

It showed us the youth of Robin and Guy, that they actually have a brother, which they never knew.
The parents I did not liked so much, it was to complicated, and there is a lot of quarrel between the two fathers.

And finally Guy and Robin, however with some struggles, make peace to go to York to free their brother. I mean, that is quite a progress. Well, first they did fight a lot, but eventually they are really getting along very well. Hurray.

I would love it when they showed us a young Marian. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!! Edward was the sherrif, but we didn't get to see him either. A little mistake, I must say.

Now, let us go save Archer! You both go Guy and Robin, you go!!! :)

    1. That was very interesting to see, they were both so different.
Their parents were just so...not nice. It was very compilcated and I did not like that part of the story at all.

I am so glad that they made peace, I was tired of them fighting all the time! Hurray! When I first saw this I didn't forgive Guy, but this time I did and forgiveness is better.

THAT WOULD HAVE MADE THIS EPISODE 500X BETTER!!! That would make me so happy!

Go save Archer! Go brothers, go! :)
