For November, I am doing National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), not completely, I'm only trying for 10,000.

My goal for November: Finish my book!

NOVEMBER:

My book's total word count: 25, 455!!!!

TAGS:

And, the awesome Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee at A Looong Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far, Away tagged me for the Of Rising Authors Tag! Thank you so much!!!!!

The Rules:

#1: No tagging back
#2: Tag Four People
#3: Thank The Person Who Tagged You

1: What is your "go-to" song for writing?:

Well, when I try to listen to music when I'm writing it doesn't really work because I start to dance or sing along. Usually it is Irish music when I do listen to it.
Or, when my sister is playing the piano I listen to that (Journy to the Past, How Can a Moment Last Forever?, Lost Boys) usually I can type really quickly, but I slow down to the tempo of the song when I am listening to music.

2: Have you ever struggled with creating a character too similar to one of your favorite characters? (Definitely never happened with Geric or Char....defenitly...*sniff*:

No, I have never created the same fatherly character in every book, or made the same amazing hero. (Yes, I totally have done that.)

3: What is the weirdest thing someone has said to you about your writing?:

Haha! This was so hilarious, but not at the time.
I asked my sister to read my writing. After a few minutes I asked, "What do you think?"
"It's great!" She replies.
"What time period do you think it is in?" I ask.
"Post colonial America." She says without hesitation.
*starts banging head on table* "It's in Medival Europe." I reply.

4: What is one of your MC's flaws? (I gave one of mine a fear of spiders. Scratch that, two of mine have it :P :

What's wrong with being afraid of spiders?

Well, she is super naivё. She will believe anything anyone says, that is unless it goes against her values. And another one cares too much of what she looks like.

5: What is your least favorite genre to write in?:

Fantasy. I love reading fantasy, but I can't write it to save my life. Or Sci-Fi.

6: What was the worst thing you ever wrote?:

Oh. Um, it was a little story about horses in space. It was really bad. I wasn't actually writing it down (hurrah!) but I was telling it, and it was bad.

7: Do you like writing non-fiction?:

No. *glares at the essay I need to write* I want to add my own touches.

8: What was the most awkward scene you've ever written? (mine was a proposal scene...let's not go into that...):

Hahahahahahaha. Please don't make me answer this.

Okay, okay, it was someone getting introduced to someone else. I wince every time I read it.

9: On a scale from one to ten (I am perfect like I am!) (IGNORE THAT. A SONG GOT STUCK IN MY HEAD) how often do you end up writing more than 3 chapters of the stories you start?:

By the way, as soon as my sister saw that she started singing it. I didn't even catch on until then.

Um, only this one I am currently on. I am on chapter 9. I know, I impress myself! But, there is motavation behind this one, so far...

10: How many people do you let read your stories?

I used to let my sisters read, but... look at answer 3. Now, I only let my mom read it because she helps edit.

I tag: (Sorry if you already have done it!)
Hamlette at Hamlette's Soliloquy
Melissa Gravitis at Quill Pen Writer
Anna at A World Through Her Heart
Farm Lassie at The Rebelling Muse

And, I am just putting the same questions because they are so good:
1: What is your "go-to" song for writing?
2: Have you ever struggled with creating a character too similar to one of your favorite characters? (Definitely never happened with Geric or Char....defenitly...*sniff*)
3: What is the weirdest thing someone has said to you about your writing?
4: What is one of your MC's flaws? (I gave one of mine a fear of spiders. Scratch that, two of mine have it :P)
5:  What is your least favorite genre to write in?
6: What was the worst thing you ever wrote?
7: Do you like writing non-fiction?
8: What was the most awkward scene you've ever written? (mine was a proposal scene...let's not go into that...)
9: On a scale from one to ten (I am perfect like I am!) (IGNORE THAT. A SONG GOT STUCK IN MY HEAD) how often do you end up writing more than 3 chapters of the stories you start?
10: How many people do you let read your stories?

Thank you so much for tagging me, Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee! I had so much fun answering.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope to get a lot of writing done this month!

    3. If you do, I will definitely read it. But if you don't, will you please email me some snippets so that I can get a taste of it? 😀

      Delete
    4. Thanks! :) I sure will! It is a very strange idea, but overall it is a retelling, you just need awhile to get to it. :)

      Delete
    5. Perfect! I have written down many ideas for fairytale retellings that I just haven't written out into stories...so you're doing better than me!:)

      Delete
    6. Fairytale retellings are so cool, and so easy to relate to. If you write them out you have to let me know! :) Which one(s) are you retelling? :) Thank you. :)

      Delete
    7. I have come up with Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and a few other more obscure fairytale retellings. Perhaps I will write them one day when I am done with school and have more time for writing fiction!:)

      Delete
    8. Oh cool!! You should really write them! I would love reading them! But, it can be hard with school. I am getting away with writing this one because my mom is allowing me to count it for school time, but I won't be so lucky next time. :)

    9. Well, that's pretty nice of her:) I never actually thought of that counting, but it makes sense.

    10. Yeah, she knows I really want to enter. And it helps me think about phrasing sentences and paragraphs. :) I didn't think about it at first either.

To comment, or not to comment? That is the question. Whatever you decide, I would love to hear from you!! I am always open to suggestions, advice, and any other comments! Even if you don't agree with me, I would love to hear from you as long as you keep the comment respectful and on subject. And, please, no swearing. I love comments on old posts!!
My computer won't let me leave comments, so it might take a few days, but I will reply!
